Important DNS Migration Notice for Your Domains

As part of Heart Internet's recent acquisition, we will soon be migrating DNS services currently managed by domaincontrol.com back to Heart Internet's DNS management system. This transition is key to our ongoing efforts to enhance service reliability and security.

For Domains Managed by Heart Internet: No action is required on your part. Our team will manage all necessary updates to ensure a seamless transition with minimal disruption to your services.

For Domains Registered at Other Registrars: If you have domains registered with other registrars but currently use Heart Internet for DNS services, please ensure that you update the DNS settings with your current registrar. This proactive step will help avoid any potential service interruptions. You can find instructions on what will be needed below:

We will be making the changes starting on 4th September, if you have any further queries please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team.

EDIT - As per the email sent out today (03.09.24) this process will begin tomorrow morning, we will provide real-time updates here, this will take approximately 48-hours to complete.

For Heart registered domains no further action is needed. For externally registered domains we advise not updating the nameservers until we confirm the process is complete. If you have any further queries please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team.


DNS Migration Update (04.09.24)

The DNS migration process has begun, but we are currently experiencing slower-than-expected progress. This is the first step in the overall process:

Current Status: We are migrating a copy of the DNS to our nameservers. This process may take up to 48 hours to complete. Please be assured that there will be no impact on any services during this step.

Important for Customers with Externally Registered Domains: Please refrain from updating the nameservers at your registrar during this time.

Update: DNS Migration (05.09.24)

We are currently 75% completed with Step 1 (copying the zone files), and we expect to finish this process by the end of today.

Due to the extended timeframe for Step 1, we have decided to delay Step 2 (changing nameservers at the registry) until Monday of next week. This will allow us to monitor the process closely and ensure support is available.

For external domains, please refrain from updating your nameservers to Heart Internet until next week.

Important: Step 1 has no impact on the DNS or domain functionality at this stage.
